How nice!

Two friends did a very nice thing for me the other day - they both gave me this excellence award for Jim's Gems. It really is humbling that anyone finds my ramblings helpful; further testimony to the fact that only God can strike a straight blow with a crooked stick.

I also was to commend 5 of my fellow bloggers and bestow upon them the blessing I have received. You would do well to visit these from time to time.

1. Sage advice blended with great homespun humor can be found at Joe McKeever's place. He is a noted Christian cartoonist, pastor, and missionary.

2. My good friend Chris shares his heart and passion for Christian living and discipleship over at the Fish For Men blog.

3. My buddy Tommy Duke is a church planter and cutting edge pastor of a new church in Pittsburgh, Iron City Church. You can gain insight and be challenged by reading what he writes over at The Forge. (My favorite blog name!)

4. One of the friends who blessed me with the award deserves on herself. Skittle is making her way through life's ups and downs with a great attitude. She has experienced an awful lot in her short life span, but I enjoy reading her candor and honesty over at The Daily Skittle.

5. And last, but certainly not least, The Boss Lady, tells it like it is with humor and good common sense. I have known her most of her life, and she is the real deal and certainly worth the read at Well Isn't That Special.
